Competency Based Marking

In Cutebrains, our Competency-Based Marking (CBM) feature transforms student assessment by prioritizing mastery of specific skills and competencies over traditional grading. Educators customize competency frameworks aligned with subject goals, mapping competencies to activities to directly assess skill development.

Teachers utilize diverse assessment methods like rubrics, checklists, and peer assessments, fostering personalized feedback and real-world relevance. Robust reporting tools enable intuitive tracking of individual and group competency progress, pinpointing areas for additional support and improvement.

CBM empowers students with personalized learning paths based on mastery, enhancing comprehension and practical application of knowledge. Transparent assessment criteria clarify learning objectives and grading expectations, preparing students for academic and professional success in a dynamic educational setting.
